WILDLIFE — sadly, we found a deadĀ ruffed grouse on Conservatory Trail this morning while mowing. As is our tradition, we photographed it and have gently laid it to rest in the ‘arms’ of a large tree’s roots (where it will quickly serve as a nice meal for an unseen nocturnal animal).
