  • Mink in harbour spotted 3 times
  • Raccoons wandering

BIRD SIGHTINGS:

  • first Robin on Friday
  • Canada geese pair have been here for a couple weeks
  • Mallard pair in harbour several times
  • Mergansers (as many as 16 at a time) on shoreline

  • Black Capped Chickadees

GARDENING — we plan to start the wood furnace and open the greenhouse this weekend! Tulips, daffodils, rhubarb, lilies are beginning to sprout; pussy willows are opening; buds on many trees; gardens are well drained and spring is in the air.
