GREENHOUSE UPDATE (held at 5C over the winter) … a few plants overwintered are blooming (geranium, gerbera); canna bulblets planted in the fall are beginning to emerge; we’ve planted lettuce and onions for early eating. Flower seeds have dried and are ready to harvest. Some annuals have been planted in trays at the house (begonia, petunia, coleus, viola and a few ‘test’ tomatoes) with more scheduled for later this week. They will be transplanted and held here until late March when they will move to the greenhouse to prepare for planting out in late May or early June.
