UPDATE: We are starting a new ‘rating system’ for easier viewing of Trail Conditions within our blog here on the website. Conditions for snowshoes, cross-country and hiking will be shown as “excellent; good; fair; poor” grade making it easier for you to decide what activity you want to do today 🙂

Cross-Country = Fair
Hiking = Good

TRAILS WERE INSPECTED today to remove a lot of small debris from recent high winds. There are a few areas of standing water but, overall, trails are very good considering recent weather.

ESCARPMENT TRAIL #15 is closed to cross-country, hiking and snowmobiles as it was just cleared this fall and is very rough. It is fine for snowshoes.

SNOWMOBILE conditions will no longer be reported regularly as we no longer groom off-site.  Greystone Trails #1, #12 (partial) and #17 are available for snowmobilers to access off-site trails. We will update you when/if the groomer goes through the property for access to off-site trails. We talked to them today and they are planning for Saturday, Jan 14 grooming. WILDLIFE SIGHTING: Tony spotted a very large doe and a small deer near Finch Rest Area this morning foraging for apples. Red and black squirrels have been active the last couple of days.
