Warblers are returning and that’s a sure sign that spring has arrived.
Seen today at greenhouse feeders or nearby:
Rose Breasted Grosbeak, Eastern Grosbeak, Eastern Towhee, Robin, White Breasted Nuthatch, Golden Crowned Kinglet (pair), Cardinal (pair), Doves, Bluejays, 4 types of Sparrows including White Throat and Chipping, Chickadee, Goldfinches, Eastern Phoebe, Ruffed Grouse, Junco, Amercian Redstart, Yellow-Rumped Warbler, Black and White Warbler, Brown Creeper and few others I forgot in the moment
Canada Geese (and very young goslings at pond)
Canada Geese, Common Mergansers, Loon, 4 Swans (not sure of type), Herring and Ring-Billed Gulls, Mallard Ducks on Georgian Bay shoreline
Heard: Bluebirds, Sandhill Crane, Wild Turkeys
NOTE: A small black bear was seen from afar last week
